Chester’s Lodge at Lake Bank is a luxurious brand-new holiday let opened in late 2017. With comfort, quality and style in mind this new-build modern holiday home has been designed to sympathetically fit in the 6-acre grounds of the Estate and yet provides exceptional comfort and accommodation for guests. Lake Bank Estate is a 300m stroll from the southerly tip of Lake Coniston, a request stop for the famous Coniston Steam Gondola Launch and approximately 5 miles from Coniston village.   Sit back and relax in the magnificent accommodation in the peaceful, tranquil estate location or use Chester’s Lodge as the perfect base for walking, cycling, boating or exploring the beautiful Lake District and beyond.

The superb accommodation comfortably sleeps 8 guests, in four bedrooms. There are three king bedrooms and a twin bedroom; however, on prior arrangement one of the king beds can be spilt if necessary to form a second pair of twin beds.   For your own personal comfort, all of the bedrooms have individually controlled under floor heating and built-in System-line audio entertainment which can be connected through your tablet or smart phone. Three of the 4 bedrooms also have the latest HD TV’s. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and there is also a large family bathroom. Whilst the accommodation is for 8 guests; two babies in travel cots could also be put up in the bedroom accommodation; there is one travel cot and one high chair provided.

Ascend the oak staircase to the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and snug; dare to look down through large floor glass panel to the ground floor!! In keeping with today’s modern living styles, the first floor is a simply stunning; the lounge and snug areas have separate 49” HD TV’s with the snug also having a games console.   Both areas have large high-quality wrap-around leather sofas and besides these there’s occasional bean-bags. The open plan beautifully-designed modern kitchen and dining areas provide everything you need to self-cater and show off your culinary prowess to family and friends. Enjoy informal breakfasts sat around the kitchen island with the morning papers and a warming bowl of porridge; or choose to dine al fresco on the decking and have a cocktail. All cooking appliances are Neff; there’s two ovens, a combination oven-microwave and an over-sized 5 zone induction hob. There are two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There’s also a second microwave in the utility room and a separate first floor cloakroom.

Directly off the kitchen and lounge is an amazing 300sq ft south facing decking area with outside sofa and loungers, 1/3 acre private grounds and a further 6 acres of estate grounds. There’s a second decking area where you can use the BBQ and relax and keep warm around the fire-pit

The Lodge offers something different across the four seasons. In the summer sit and relax on the superb decking, in the autumn, enjoy the glorious golden landscape as the leaves turn. In winter, snuggle up in the truly sumptuous accommodation while looking out across the snow-capped fells and in the spring, take a walk through the wild flowers in the woods. A short hike is Blawith Common, Beacon Tarn and Beacon Fell, with stunning views over Coniston Water.

There’s private parking for 3 cars, free Wifi and Netflix and all the mod-cons for a memorable holiday. Use Chester’s Lodge to relax and un-wind or as a super-cool base from which you can explore the beautiful Lake District and beyond.
